Hope Never Dies – A World Class Documentary by Shamim Al Amin
Progga News Desk, NY, USA:
Last night, I had the privilege of attending the premiere of “Hope Never Dies,” a powerful documentary directed by acclaimed journalist and filmmaker Shamim Al Amin. The screening took place at a prestigious auditorium in New York, packed with renowned community figures and cultural influencers from across the city.
This remarkable documentary is based on the harsh yet deeply human experiences of the COVID-19 pandemic. It chronicles the emotional, medical, and societal impacts of the global crisis, with a focus that feels both intimate and universal.
As one of the speakers at the event, I was deeply moved by the storytelling. The documentary stands out in every aspect — its photography, narration, thoughtful interviews, statistical framing, and emotional pacing are simply exceptional. The level of research, execution, and cinematic composition reflects a standard that rivals productions from National Geographic or other global platforms.
What makes this achievement even more special is that it comes from a fellow Bangladeshi and proud alumnus of the Department of Journalism at the University of Dhaka, Shamim Al Amin. His creative brilliance and journalistic integrity shine through every frame of this film.
I am incredibly proud of Samim. This is more than a documentary — it is a historical testimony, a human story, and a cinematic triumph. Job well done, Shamim. I wish you continued success. And to everyone — do not miss the opportunity to experience “Hope Never Dies.”
